What happens if it rains?
We do our best to notify you if we have to cancel class due to weather. Rain alone will not cancel a class. If we experience heavy rain and/or thunderstorms, class is cancelled. If we have time, we will call or email you to notify you of a cancelled class. Please do not assume class is cancelled. Often, it may be raining where you are, but not at the pool. Our makeup classes are held on Fridays at your regular class time. Saturday makeup classes are added after the last scheduled Saturday in your session.

What if there is a holiday in the week?
If there is a holiday during a session, classes are held the other four days in the week.

What is your makeup policy?
We offer makeup classes only if we cancel a class.

If you miss a class because of illness, etc., and if we have an opening in another class at your child's level, we will offer you the opportunity to make up your missed class as a courtesy.

How many students in your classes?
We will never have more than five (5) students in a class. This offers each student the opportunity to have one-on-one time with the instructor and the chance to observe and rest between turns.

How do I know what level I should register my child?
If your child is between 3-4 years old, please register in a preschool class.

Beginner classes are for children that have never had lessons to children that are comfortable in the water, but can't swim freestyle yet.

Adv. beginner classes are for children that need attention to their stroke technique in freestyle and backstroke.

Intermediate classes are for children that are ready to learn breaststroke and butterfly. We are always working on stroke refinement in freestyle and backstroke at this level.

Please keep in mind, that each student is taught at their level of need. Often, we regroup students on the first day of class, if needed.

Do you have private lessons?
Yes, we offer private classes at $30 per half-hour with a minimum of four (4) classes on a flexible schedule. Please complete the registration form with your choices of dates and times and we will try to match an instructor to your choices.
